Hudson Beach Glass and Philadelphia University team up to explain the science of glass. While Sean Gilvey, co-owner of HBG Philadelphia, demonstrates the nature of glass in the hot shop,Professor Chris Pastore will be in the gallery explaining the science behind Sean’s work. Guests will have a chance to learn about the science of the material while watching an expert artisan manipulate it. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.
Guests are asked to sign up for one of the two time slots available 6:30-7:30 or 7:30-8:30.
